Hey Surfers and paddlers , 

Hope live is good ? 

Our rainy season is running to the end and we are busy preparing our upcoming high season . 

As you all know the Stand Up Paddle (SUP) surfing became it’s own sport and is starting to grow very big in the US and other western countries . It can be so much fun , when it done in a respectful and controlled way Another thing to do on the water with a total different feel to it . Some riders do it for exercise and go out for long paddles to explore the bay , others take a cold beer , put on there sunglasses  and enjoy the fish and the turtles swimming under-need there boards or others love to ride good size waves and get really handy with the paddle …. You name it , it’s all fun stuff to do out there . 

Only one problem occurs for those traveling paddlers ! Most of the boards are about 11′ long and over 4″ thick … not the easiest traveling board . Well we decided to offer the solution to the already enthusiastic paddlers and the ones who want to give it a try . We started up our rental program for SUP board and hired a great Instructor to get everybody going . So , from now one you can rent Laird , Takayama , Infinity and Robert August SUP’s through our shop . You can reserve boards for weekly rentals or swing by the shop and try one out for a day . We also have Laird Softops and Blacktips available for our SUP lessons …

Hey Blue Trailerz , 

I’m sitting in a packed airport terminal , looking to all these people trying to get on the plane first … 

We , my girl friend and myself , are traveling to the Surfexpo in Orlando . Always a very interesting trip , new product to see , new lines to pick and orders to place . We’re very excited to see the new surftech boards getting prepared for 2009 . HIC Erick Arakawa , is entering the surftech team and is coming out with some great boards . Sinse we distribute the HIC sunblock , this is a great adding to our product line Also lots of new designs on Takayama boards , the SUP devisions is very important to us now , we carry a lot of different shapes and have a bunch of SUP’s available for rent .We will also pick up a few cool clothing lines and prepare the shop for a new high season … It’ll be filled with new hot product … hope to see you there .

OK , time to jump on that plane , eat shitty food ( or no food ) and stare at the clouds for a few hours …

I’ll keep you posted on our activities at the expo …
